This man made heritage hideout is located at Vagamon, (Idukki),
barely 100 kms away from Cochin International Airport, with
its lake which will offer you an exhilarating sense of
enjoyment the likes of which you have never seen or enjoyed
before. A complete holiday experience, amidst mother nature
in its most idealic form with salubrious climes.
Here we highlight the nature’s bounties that you will
encounter at the heritage site.
Watch the birds and pet animals in their natural habitat in
close proximity to the guest dwellings. The warmth and
friendliness they exude towards mankind is to be seen to be
believed. Attention-grabbing sights of rabbits, parrots,
lovebirds, white geese, pigeons & doves will enthrall you.
Wooden nests are made for them where they come to roost.
They play the part of a perfect host in welcoming the
visitors-the chirping of these birds...while short stature
trees like manchiam, vembu, pine etc sway their heads in
cool breeze as if in a trance. The shrubby tea, pepper,
cardamom and ginger grass keep their heads fluttering as if
in dance, dispersing a pleasant aroma to the surroundings.
There is an aviary where a large family of parrots and
lovebird coexists without any kind of hostility.
Occasionally these innocent-looking creatures are let out
into the meadows to linger around with guests.

Mud Cottage, Jungle Stone Cottage and Wild Erumadams are
available for accommodation with all facilities. All
cottages can be accommodate two pax. Stone cottages made of
Jungle stones. Erumadams made by wooden panels and wooden
poles.

TARIFF
Any type of cottages for two pax US $ 100 and INR 5000/-
Tariff includes all meals, food and beverages except vine &
spirit and liquor. Extra bed will not be available. However
any extra children staying in the same cottage, the food
charge will be US & 10 and INR 500/- inclusive of all taxes.

MODE OF PAYMENT
Cash/Cheque/DD/Credit Card/Debit Card Cash payments can be
done in our offices at Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai, Cochin,
Kozhikode and Trivandrum. If you prefer to pay by credit
card at our offices at Cochin and Trivandrum on arrival,
please pay before proceeding to Vagamon Hide Out.
CONFIRMATION
Provisional bookings will be taken on remitting advance and
reservation will be confirm only pay in entire amount in
advance. For maintaining privacy and security, only
confirmed guest with voucher be permitted for entry in to
the Vagamon Hide Out.
