This bungalow also has a touch of  local style with a mild overlay of colonial architecture. Evergreen EstateBunglow has tall interior with many tilt windows which provides lots of day light and fresh air. The medium pitched sheet roofs at bunglow are timber gabled. Placed atop a gentle hill amidst an evergreen rubber and spice plantations of just over a hundred acres, not far from the little village township of Koottickal, Kerala the house is remarkable for its calm and quite surroundings. The steep hill to the north east form a close backdrop of plantation, to the bungalow. The high ranges of Western Ghats rising steeply from the base of the township can be viewed across from the southern side of the Evergreen Bungalow.
 
The cool spaces of the verandah on the south east of Evergreen bunglow, The guests can relax on Evergreen's lawns late to the evenings as the host takes care of them as a part of their family. The furnitures of Evergreen Bunglow are mostly of local origin and may appear as abstracts of Queen Anne to Mid-Victorian.
